Location of Post

Galway University Hospitals, Portiuncula University Hospital & Roscommon University Hospital.

There is currently a permanent, full-time vacancy available.

Initial assignment will be to the Laboratory Medicine Department, Laboratory Medicine Directorate, Galway University Hospitals.

The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Laboratory Manager from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Post Specific Related Information

Access to transport as post will involve travel between sites.

Flexibility regarding working hours to meet the demands of the post.

Service needs require that staff may be rostered for:

· Unsocial hours/Shift work (depending on service need)

· On Call
