Full / Part Time, 6-month contract
This post represents an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary team based primarily in Clontarf. The role will focus on operational leadership, research development, education, and staff training. The coordinator will play a key role in advancing the laboratory’s research output and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Essential requirements are:
· Relevant degree in movement or health science, or a related field.
· Demonstrated experience in a research environment, including leading or contributing to research projects.
· Evidence of experience in education, training, or staff development.
· Strong organisational and operational management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to lead initiatives and work independently.
· Fluency in spoken and written English
· Excellent communication, initiative, time management and teamwork skills.
Desirable requirements are:
· Experience working in a gait laboratory or motion analysis setting.
· Postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a relevant discipline.
· Experience securing research funding or publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
· Familiarity with data analysis tools and research software.
It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post. Department of Health Salary applies Grade VI (Grade Code 0574, DOH scales as at 1 Feb 2026) (Current pay scale € 57,898 – €70,734 (inc. 2 LSIs).
