As a prompt/ML engineer at Dell Technologies, you will join the Global Translation Team, a shared services organization within the enterprise. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing effective prompts for various generative AI applications.

What you’ll achieveAs a prompt/NL engineer at Dell Technologies, you will join the Global Translation Team, a shared services organization within the enterprise. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing effective prompts for various generative AI applications.You will:

• Designing, developing and refining text prompts for natural language tasks such as translation, summarization, sentiment analysis, etc.

• Collaborating with content creators, translators, product teams and data scientists to ensure prompt alignment with company goals and user needs

• Optimizing AI prompt generation process to enhance overall system performance and quality

• Monitoring and analyzing prompt performance using human and programmatic evaluation techniques

• Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI, natural language processing and machine learning

• Proficiency in prompt engineering platforms such as Azure Open AI or comparable ones

• Fluency in Python language to scale proof of concepts to practical application

• Comprehensive understanding of natural language processing, machine learning and AI-generated content development

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable Requirements;Master Degree/PhD in related fieldsDell’s Hybrid Work Culture

• Team members who live within a one-hour commute of a major Dell site location will be considered hybrid and expected to be onsite a minimum of three days per week, while the other days can be from anywhere.

• Team members who live more than a one-hour commute from a major Dell site location will be considered remote but may have the option to work hybrid should they choose to, with their leader’s approval.
