General Dental Surgeon

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

(a) Hold a Degree, Licence or Diploma in Dental Surgery / Dental Science.

AND

(b) Be registered in the Register of Dentists for Ireland or be entitled to be registered.

AND

(c) Have had, since becoming eligible under paragraph (a) above, at least one years’ satisfactory experience in the practice of dentistry.

AND

(d) Possess a high standard of professional knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Please note that appointment to and continuation in posts that require statutory registration is dependent upon the post holder maintaining annual registration in the relevant division of the register maintained by: Register of Dentists for Ireland.
