General Maintenance Person

Dromoland Castle Hotel, a renowned luxury destination in Ireland, is currently seeking an experienced and reliable General Maintenance Person to join our dedicated team. As a General Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical machinery.
• Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks across the estate.
• Addressing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently using the hotel’s Maintenance App.
• Ensuring hotel premises, including guest rooms, are always in excellent working condition.
• Implementing preventative maintenance plans.
• Keeping maintenance stores clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Recording daily work using maintenance software.
• Working every third weekend as part of the maintenance rota.
• Attending to HVAC-related tasks and general facility repairs.

We’re looking for someone who possesses:

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role.
• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
