General Manager

This campaign is confined to:

1.HSE employees currently employed one grade below General Manager Grade. (i.e. candidate must be employed at Grade VIII or equivalent grade)

AND

2.Be employed at that grade for a period of no less than 3 months consecutively in the last 18 months.

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:

(i) Have significant health sector management experience which should include financial and people management.

AND

(ii) Have proven ability in developing and implementing plans at a strategic and operational level.

AND

(iii) Have a track record of delivering significant change in a complex multi stakeholder environment, as relevant to this role.

AND

(iv) Have experience in the delivery of a safe and quality service through multidisciplinary and cross sectoral working.

AND

b) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
