Job Summary:

The General Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services at M&A Coaches. This role involves leading a dedicated team, developing strategic plans, and implementing policies to enhance our operational capabilities and achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the company’s transport operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Representation: Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and transport management software.
