Alternative Heat designs, develops, and delivers a wide range of offsite prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK and Europe.

What We Do

We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in Northern Ireland and shipped throughout the UK and Europe.

We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions. We have successfully procured and delivered many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout the UK and Europe.

Team Overview

The Contracts Department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover.

Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and onsite teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of clients.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assisting the Fabrication and Assembly Team.
  • Training on the saw and beveller so cover can be provided in the case of absenteeism.
  • Supporting the Material Preparation Area.
What You Need to Have
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous assembly experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read a measuring tape and use hand and power tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
What You Would Ideally Have
  • Valid CSR Card.
  • Current forklift licence.
