General Operative

Are you a hands-on individual who thrives in an organized environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Chadwicks Group, a leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland!

We're seeking a General Operative to join our team at Gorey on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract.

In this role, you'll report to the Yard Supervisor and play a crucial part in maintaining and organising our yard and warehouse area.

Do you have previous experience as a general operative? Great!

Do you possess a valid forklift license? Even better! 

We're also looking for someone with customer service experience. A manual handling certificate and experience in a busy builders’ providers environment would be advantageous but not necessary.

Your role will be diverse, including tasks like:

• receiving deliveries
• keeping the warehouse tidy,
• loading company vehicles
• ensuring the forklift is well-maintained.

You'll also contribute to the security of our premises and collaborate with the team for efficient operations.

Contract / Salary

This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Your working week will be Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
