General Operative

The Role

Ribworld is a busy meat processing factory in Fethard, Co. Tipperary. We are one of the largest sous vide producers in Europe, exporting rib based products to customers all over Europe.We have a number of vacancies for General Operatives on our day shifts. We are looking for people to work in different areas of the factory:Graders - who are responsible for categorising meat joints and identifying joints of the same size and quality.Packers - who work on the packing lines packing product.This is a highly controlled fresh meat plant, so it is important to know that the working conditions can be cold and noisy - personal protective equipment is provided. The work is also quite manual and repetitive in nature. The hours of work are 05.30am-14.30pm; 06.00am-15.00pm or 06.15am-15.15pm Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate is €13.00 per hour"Ribworld offers ambitious people lots of opportunity for career advancement.No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
