General Operative (Summer Job - June to September)

Positions Available:

• We are recruiting General Operatives to join our production team at our Meat Processing Plant in Watergrasshill during the Summer season (June - September).

• Key Responsibilities:
• Working as part of the operations team in the factory, undertaking all duties as directed by their manager/supervisor. Play a key role in production, storage, cleaning, Health & Safety and all other tasks as directed by management. This role will involve working to challenging production targets and therefore can be stressful. The role may also involve in working for extended periods of time in cold/chilled areas.
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday

Some Saturdays will also be required

Morning and Afternoon Shifts

What to expect in the job?

• The role will involve:

• Packaging meat products such as steaks, chops, burgers and meatballs.
• Working in a chilled environment
• Have the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Using machinery only when trained to do so
• Other duties will be part of the role from time to time – this will be specified by your direct Line Supervisor
