General Operative – Yard

Job Purpose:

To support the Operations Manager and business in achieving its daily targets

Reports to:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

• Performs basic grounds-keeping duties such as trimming of grass, trees and shrubs as required
• Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, roadways etc.
• Accurately record any data as required
• Control, responsibility and safe operation of all items within the area such as production/repair tools, machinery and reporting of any issues that arise
• Maintain the work area and any equipment in a tidy / safe / hygienic manner
• Follow all hygiene and safety procedures
• Work within the Quality standards as set out by the business
• Liaise with General Manager on any maintenance issues identified
• Be flexible to ensure all works are completed in a timely manner

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Good Knowledge and understanding of health & safety processes
• Ability to work in a team environment or on own initiative as required
• Shows flexibility in all aspects of the role
