General Operatives

Join our dedicated team at Young's Forge Limited, where we support critical construction operations across County Kerry and beyond. We are seeking two enthusiastic individuals ready to build their career in the construction sector.

Role Requirements

No prior construction experience required – 1 year of general manual work experience (such as site cleaning, labouring on small building projects, landscaping, or similar work involving physical labour, material handling or site organisation) is preferred.

A strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team

Role Responsibilities

As a General Operative, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth worksite operations by:

Assisting with all aspects of construction preparation

Safely handling, moving, loading and unloading materials

Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas

Providing essential support to skilled tradespeople including bricklayers, carpenters and steel fixers

What We Offer

Annual Salary: €34,000 (equivalent to €16.77 per hour)

Working Hours: 39 hours per week
