About the role
Are you a strategic thinker with deep expertise in the alcoholic beverages industry? We’re looking for a Global Business Development Lead to drive growth, build strong customer partnerships, and lead cross-functional collaboration across our global accounts. A solid technical background in brewing technologies, processes, and ingredients is essential to succeed in this role and deliver value through our innovative solutions.
Location: Ireland (Relocation sponsorship available)Function: Commercial / Strategic AccountsTravel: 30–50% global travel required
Key responsibilities
Individual Impact:
- Be recognized as the subject matter expert in alcoholic beverages, showcasing how our technologies create value in brewing and distilling applications.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers’ technical and production teams on-site.
- Identify new opportunities and drive sales growth through deep knowledge of process technology and operational optimization.
- Provide expert guidance on product application and collaborate with application teams to tailor solutions.
- Train and support distributor sales teams to effectively promote our portfolio.
- Support key customers during scale-up and troubleshooting phases.
Shared Success:
- Lead the development of a global account strategy with input from regional teams, ensuring coordinated execution of growth plans.
- Align internal and customer strategies to deliver above-market growth.
- Continuously assess team capabilities and ensure the right talent is focused on customer success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory) to prioritize and deliver on global account goals.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships across both the customer and internal stakeholders.
- Manage global RFPs, contracts, and pricing decisions.
- Champion a unified communication approach aligned with our strategic intent.
- Drive the annual review process with global engagement.
Qualifications and skills
- 8–10+ years of experience in business development or strategic account management, with a specific focus on the brewing industry on a global level.
- Proven success in driving commercial growth and managing global customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Solid understanding of beverage formulation, brewing technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness and ability to travel globally up to 50%.
- Willingness to relocate to Ireland (relocation sponsorship available).
