We currently have a vacancy for a Global Process manager role to be based in our Shared Service Hub in Cherrywood.

What you will Do: 
In conjunction with Global Process Owner OTC, set the strategic direction for global process design, working directly with Corporate Finance Services and Shared Services Operations to advance the target operating model and deliver process transformation. 

The Global Process Manager OTC will take responsibility for driving process design and governance for Customer Master data, Cash Applications, Deductions Management and Collections activities with an emphasis on Global Process standardization and ERP deployment and optimization across the business.

Job Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or General Management
  • Accounting Certification or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5 years of Finance and Accounting experience in a complex multinational organization, 2-3 of those years from transaction through to close, inclusive of external and internal financial reporting
  • Shared Service experience desirable 
  • In-depth understanding of SAP or other major ERP systems capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Customer Master Governance in SAP or other major ERP
  • Demonstrated experience managing matrixed interactions with order management / customer service teams in a complex and global environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of executing process transformation initiatives or delivering enterprise systems
  • Prior Experience in E-invoicing solution implementation an advantage
  • Experience and background in evaluating business risk and implementing financial controls 
  • Formal continuous improvement training (e.g., LEAN / Six Sigma) desirable
  • Senior stakeholder management experience with ability to influence & persuade key stakeholders and to constructively deal with conflicts.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with others, to consider the needs of all affected groups, and to build/leverage relationships across functions and organizations to achieve business results.
  • Ability to work with others in a formal process for solving issues and problems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Travel required 15%

Responsibilities

  • In consultation with business and operational teams, support, lead identification, prioritization, and delivery of process improvements, ensuring support of organizational outcomes and business results. Contribute to the Definition and implementation of the Order to Cash Roadmap to deliver targeted business benefits and ease of process use for the end user and external customers. 
  • Collaborate with CFS & SSO leadership to ensure global alignment of priorities, management, and influence of results through working in a matrixed environment. 
  • Collaborate, where required with BTS-IT on ERP program initiatives and deployment of other enabling technologies, including E-invoicing solutions.
  • Establish deep understanding and sustain end to end global process design, participating in Process Council and community of practices for Global, OTC end to end processes 
  • Communicate & support the drive to adoption of global process standards and gain buy-in from key stakeholders, with a significant focus on Customer Master Data Governance
  • Establish and sustain process change control for OTC processes
  • Provide process expertise for Corporate Finance Services (CFS) migrations, business integrations including mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities and new business models.
  • Identify, drive and monitor continuous improvement related to the OTC process area and create opportunities to bring service innovation to Abbott across the end-to-end process.
  • Ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implementation of necessary corrections and/or changes
  • Develop agreed KPIs and performance measures associated with the end-to-end process, benchmarking activities, and continuous assessment of global process performance measures, driving measurable improvements in the process over time.
  • Identify and validate with OTC teams process automation including robotics for the process area.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the finance functions. Act as a liaison with Abbott Division and Corporate business partners, CFS and other customers.
  • Proactively monitor and flag cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives that impact people, processes, and technology to ensure alignment, maintain agility and mitigate disruption to the global process agenda through frequent communication with business partners including GPO, CFS & SSO leadership, Future of Finance leadership, functional stakeholders including commercial divisions, supply chain and treasury.
