 General Practitioner – ROI – (Job Ref: 24/ROII)

Randox Health in Ireland is searching for a dynamic General Practitioner to join our esteemed team on a consultancy basis. As a pivotal member of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll contribute to delivering an unparalleled standard of care.

Your shifts would consist of three 4-hour periods per week, two home based and one at our Sandyford Clinic in Dublin.

The Opportunity:
In this role, you'll conduct telemedicine consultations for Randox Health packages with GP add-ons, ensuring every patient receives tailored guidance and appropriate referrals. We're committed to excellence, and your role will be central to maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct both face-to-face and virtual GP consultations for comprehensive health assessments.
  • Provide patients with personalised lifestyle advice and ensure thorough comprehension of their results.
  • Collaborate in developing clinical programs within ROI and support tender submissions.
  • Offer clinical expertise to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Uphold the standards of good clinical practice through your work.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Manager on clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Who We're Looking For:
Essential:
  • IMC Registration: As a fundamental requirement, we seek a General Practitioner with current registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). This registration ensures that you meet the necessary standards of competency, professionalism, and ethical conduct, providing assurance to both patients and colleagues.
  • Evidence of Medical Indemnity Cover: Demonstrating your commitment to patient safety and professional accountability, you must provide evidence of comprehensive medical indemnity cover. This coverage safeguards against potential liabilities, ensuring that you can practice with confidence and integrity.
  • Up-to-date Appraisal and Revalidation Records: Continuous learning and development are paramount in delivering high-quality healthcare. Your up-to-date appraisal and revalidation records underscore your dedication to maintaining and enhancing your clinical skills, knowledge, and standards of practice, reflecting your commitment to excellence.
  • Experience Collaborating Within Multi-professional, Multi-disciplinary Teams: Our ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of effectively collaborating within diverse healthcare teams. Your experience working in multi-professional, multi-disciplinary settings demonstrates your ability to communicate, coordinate, and integrate care seamlessly, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
  • MRCGP (Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners): Membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) further solidifies your expertise and commitment to excellence in general practice. This qualification signifies your attainment of rigorous standards in clinical knowledge, skills, and professionalism, aligning closely with our values of delivering exceptional patient care.
Desirable:
  • Previous Experience in a Private Healthcare Setting: While not essential, prior experience in a private healthcare environment is advantageous. It indicates familiarity with the nuances and expectations of private practice, including a focus on personalised service, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, encompassing Word, Excel, and Outlook, enhances your ability to manage documentation, communicate effectively, and analyse data efficiently. These skills contribute to streamlined workflows, improved communication, and enhanced collaboration within the healthcare team.
