ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently recruiting for a Graduate position. This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract, full-time role. This role will be based across three of our departments, Quality, Health and Safety and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will spend 8 months gaining valuable experience and knowledge from each department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our newest Graduate programme incitive!

Outline of the Role:

Our Graduate Programme incorporates Graduates from a variety of disciplines and provides new graduates with an opportunity to gain experience in their chosen career paths and put the knowledge they have learned throughout their degrees into action.

We are delighted to launch our new immersive rotational Graduate Programme, that consists of up to three placements in different departments across our Danone Wexford Supply Point, over the duration of two years.

The successful Graduate entering the programme, will have the opportunity to work across three different departments, Quality, Health & Safety and Supply Chain, spending 8 months in each department. This will allow for participants to gain invaluable insights and exposure to key processes within Danone Wexford by working and completing dedicated projects in each.

The programme also provides the company with the opportunity to learn from the fresh perspectives of our graduates and improve upon our processes, with new and innovative ideas. Our Post-Graduate Programmes are open to all levels of qualifications from bachelor’s degree level to PhD.

If you are a recent graduate to degree level in a related field to any of the above vacancies and are passionate and driven to learn through hands-on experience in an innovative, fast-paced multinational, this may be an opportunity for you.

Structure of the Graduate Programme:

The three departments that the Graduate will work across will be the Quality, Health & Safety and Supply Chain departments, following the below timeline.

June 2024 to February 2025: Quality Department

February 2025 to October 2025: Health & Safety Department

October 2025 to June 2026: Supply Chain Department

More job duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate flexibility within the Graduate role.
  • They will demonstrate a drive for results with great interpersonal skills, creativity and pro-activity to help influence key stakeholders.
  • They will be a key part of the teams and assist with Quality and Supply Chain associated projects and the implementation of the Health & Safety WISE2 Roadmap.
  • They will help to raise awareness and drive a positive culture within the company through positive affirmation behaviours.
  • They will assist in preparing dashboards for various meetings and support monitoring of actions.
  • As part of the Graduate programme, projects will be identified to be completed which the graduate will own and complete during their respective term.

ABOUT YOU

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Relevant recent Third Level qualification in related disciplines.
  • Effective team worker with ability to work across various functions and levels of the business.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills to be able to build effective relationships and influence a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Proactive, highly motivated with a self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised at times.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
