About the opportunity:

Jacobs is creating an enviable reputation inIrelands water and infrastructure consultancy sector as a result of a portfolioof high profile projects with Irish Water, Transport Infrastructure Ireland,the National Transport Authority, the DAA and Local Authorities, which is whywe are looking for a Graduate Water CivilEngineer to join our already successful team.

Water is a natural asset thatwe need to manage sensitively.Climatechange is influencing the availability and quality of this natural asset andmuch of the work that we undertake for our Clients is finding innovativesolutions to balance the human / business need, with the long-termenvironmental impact.

You will join a respected andambitious company with excellent career prospects both locally and internationally.You will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of Water andEnvironmental engineers, providing support and advice to a wide range ofclients. There will be opportunities to experience different roles within theWater and Environment team aimed at developing your career.


About you:

Youmay be a soon to be graduate, or already have a little experience, but the rolewill provide you every opportunity to complete your training towards membershipof a professional institution.

  • Youwill have a MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering or similar, graduating in 2021

  • Youwill be able to work well in a team

  • Youwill be a strong communicator

  • Attentionto detail will be important to you

  • Youwill focus on results and what project deliverables are required

  • Youwill have demonstrated a previous interest in working in the Engineering Sector

Itwould be great if you have a full driving licence, as site visits may berequired for this role, however this is not essential.
