Groundskeeper – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

The 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide now invites experienced applicants to apply for the position of Groundskeeper. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in maintaining the grounds, carparks and outdoor spaces of our prestigious 4* hotel to the highest standard.

Responsibilities will include cleaning, powerhosing and general outdoor maintenance to ensure the hotel’s exterior is always in pristine condition.

Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field an advantage, along with a strong work ethic and a passion for outdoor maintenance. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to work in all weather conditions are required for this role.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Plant Care & Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain all carpark, garden and landscape areas, ensuring they remain tidy and attractive.
• Use and maintain cleaning tools, light machinery, and equipment effectively and safely.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate with management and hotel staff about the care and maintenance of the grounds as needed.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience working in a 4*/5* hotel or similar high-standard environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team when required.
• A keen interest in maintaining clean, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
