The Group Artwork Co-ordinator is a key role within the Group R&D Team, located at the Centre of Excellence at our Edgeworthstown site. They are primarily responsible for ensuring that all customer artworks are completed accurately and efficiently to meet project and customer deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ownership of artwork workflows and coordinating the resolution of all technical queries from customers, design, printers etc.
  • Accountable for the timely progression of all artwork changes, from initial briefing to file delivery at printers. Chasing approvers where necessary, escalating any delays / issues to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the artwork process between all relevant parties in the artwork supply chain, both internally (key stakeholders) and externally e.g. (artwork houses, printers etc.)
  • Ensure all packaging is developed in line with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and specific customer requirements.
  • Continuously improving knowledge of packaging and attend printers when required for print runs.
  • Attend artwork meetings & prepare weekly reports.
  • Participate in customer and other technical audits when required.
  • Manage & support innovation projects with the team. Technical support on queries and key link for external suppliers with regards to innovation.
  • NPI cover when required & other R&D related activities

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Food Science degree or related qualification
  • Art & Design course an advantage
  • Experience in artwork or packaging or printing desirable.
  • Knowledge in pet food legislation
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written – and the ability to work with various departments.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • A logical and investigative mind.
