Haemovigilance Officer

This is a Permanent, Full-Time contract of employment

The successful candidate will:

• Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland in the General and/or Midwifery Division of the Register and have at least 5 years relevant Nursing and/or Midwifery experience.

OR

• Be CORU registered Medical Scientist, eligible for fellowship of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science, with a minimum of 4 years satisfactory post-qualification experience. (Refer to Senior Medical Scientist Person Specification below)
• Working knowledge of the EU Blood Directive 2002/98/EC, SI 360 of 2005, and ISO 15189 accreditation
• Show evidence of continuing professional development
• Be of good character and in a state of health fit for the duties of the post
