Head Of Leisure Operations

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

In the context of Council’s Corporate Plan and Departmental objectives the post-holder will provide dynamic, effective and performance focused leadership by:

• Successful delivery of the Council’s strategic objectives for leisure services;
• Advising the Director, Chief Executive and Corporate Leadership Team on strategic and policy matters relating to the post holders remit.
• Successful leadership, management and delivery of service responsibilities in support of the Corporate Strategic objectives, section business plans, and values.
• Playing an active role in corporate organisational development;
• Ensure the service area leads and contributes to the successful development and delivery of inter-departmental plans supporting Corporate themes .
• Identifying and analysing trends and opportunities relevant to the post-holder’s remit and responsibilities to contributing to continuous improvement.
