The Head of Operations is responsible for leading the effective delivery of WOMEN’STEC’s programmes and services, ensuring they meet organisational objectives, quality standards and funder requirements. Reporting to the CEO, the postholder will provide operational leadership, oversee programme performance, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement across service delivery.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, they will lead and support Programme Managers, the Regional Services Coordinator (North West) and the Training & Resources Manager, ensuring high standards of performance, accountability and staff development. The role includes overseeing monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.
The Head of Operations will build and maintain effective relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders, represent WOMEN’STEC externally, and promote strong communication across the organisation. They will also oversee volunteer management, address service-user concerns when required, and deputise for the CEO as needed.
Overall, the role plays a key part in ensuring WOMEN’STEC delivers high-quality, impactful services while supporting the organisation's ongoing development and success.
