Health and Safety Administrator
Job Summary • Opportunity to work with world leading car brands. • Provide support to the Health & Safety functions at site level across the business. • Help encourage a positive Health & Safety Culture to meet business legislative needs. • Assist the site Management ensuring site safety initiatives are introduced effectively. • Ensure all documentation is maintained to a high level. Your skill set: • Previous experience is not essential, but a strong desire to learn is vital with opportunity to grow in the role. Training will be provided to IOSH standard. • The ability to work as part of a team, build strong working relationships but work off own initiative when required. • Strong communication skills to work with all levels of staff and Management across the business. • Strong IT skills, comprehensive experience of using Microsoft office products. • Organisational skills are vital with a requirement to maintain site Safety Folders.
Key Responsibilities: • Ensure all site Health & Safety folders and documents are maintained to a high standard. • Provide support to site team with documentation and filing of site equipment servicing records. • Distribute new health and safety documentation, safety alerts and risk assessments on site to the relevant managers and staff. • Involvement in organising Quarterly Health and Safety meetings on site and providing any updates or raising new issues. • Gathering relevant documents and evidence for the HSE team after any incidents occur. • Support aftersales and facilities functions obtain and store all team certifications and contractor service dockets. • Support with site new start inductions for all team members at sites. Salary: 24-26k dependent upon experience (company benefits package)
