CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Active Partnership: Through building a trusting relationship, partner with this young lady and her family to support her to achieve her personal goals, build community capacity, and advocate with her for continued opportunities.
• Daily Living Support:
Assist with meal preparation, household development skill-building, and facilitating community integration, further employment, or education opportunities, while ensuring a clean, safe, and hazard-free home environment.
• Community Connection & Participation:
Actively build up the confidence and capacity of the Leader to engage with her community as an active citizen, supporting her to develop lasting friendships, have fun, and establish a true sense of belonging.
EMPOWERMENT & WELLBEING
• Self-Directed Living: Actively support this young lady to self-direct her own life and make her own choices, ensuring her voice drives her daily plans and future goals.
• Skill & Competency Development: Help her develop the practical competencies, confidence, and life skills necessary to support her ongoing health, overall wellbeing, and independence both at home and in the community.
CORE APPROACH
• Holistic, Person-Centred Care: Provide individualized, respectful care that addresses physical, emotional, and social needs, consistently promoting optimum independence.
• Flexibility & Collaboration: Maintain a highly flexible approach to providing support, with the proven ability to work seamlessly as a supportive member of a team.
ROLE OVERVIEW

Hours: Part-Time (15-20 hrs/wk)
Funding: 100% HSE Funded
Tenure: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
REQUIREMENTS
• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or commitment to complete).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a caring role.
• Trustworthy, reliable, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Full clean driving licence to drive the work vehicle.
• Subject to successful Garda Vetting.
