Brief Description:

CSG seek support staff to help expand their Adult Day Time Respite team which supports young adults with disabilities to access community and recreational activities of their choice within their own community.

Health Care Assistant Role

This role is based in Wexford Town, Hourly rate of €19 - €24 depending on qualification and experience. 20 hours per week with potential to extend hours.

What will be expected:

• You will provide a professional, high-quality supports to young adults with disabilities and support access to community and recreational activities.
• Ensure that assistance provided is inline with CSG Respite guidelines and practices.

What is Required?

• FETAC/QQI level 5/Social Care/healthcare assistant; further inhouse training and supports will be provided.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Previous experience working with adults’ additional needs is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding is essential.
• A strong sense of empathy, flexibility and to use your own initiative.
• Knowledge of New Directions is not essential but would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Assisted Decision Making is not essential but would be an advantage
• A Full Drivers Licence is desirable.
