Health Care Support Assistant

The HSE Home Support Service for Older People works in partnership with service users and their families to support them to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. The Home Support Service is a 7-day service, which may include evening; night-time and weekend cover and provides essential support to family carers. The purpose, level and range of care and supports are designed in a personalised way and will change according to the changing assessed needs of the person.
