Health Check Project Lead

We are looking for individuals to oversee and coordinate the daily running of the NHS Health Check project in the Eastleigh, Hampshire area based on a one-year fixed-term contract for 40 hours per week.
The working hours for this role will be flexible but will primarily be Monday to Friday 08.40 to 17.20, these will be given to you in advance. There will also be the possibility of weekend and evening requirements.
Ideally, we would like you to have a full clean licence and may have to be prepared to travel across the country.

In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

The role:
  • Represent Randox Health as the first point of contact for clients and professional stakeholders.
  • Providing continuity of care by coordinating all appointments and investigations, both internal and external.
  • Assist the clinic manager / operations manager in managing the Health Check Coordinator Team and ensure the smooth operation of all health check, clinic, and offsite activities based out of the local hub.
  • Manage incoming bookings and events to ensure capacity and demand are in line with staffing and event availability.
  • Coordinate with the Learning and Development Team to ensure all training and competency for all staff members is scheduled and up to date.
  •  Understand the relevant NHS Health Check documentation, including the NHS Health Check Competency Framework, to ensure that the national guidelines are being adhered to.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with ordering and the receipt of products from HQ.
  • The management of stock and storage facilities within the clinic setting.
  • Adherence to company health & safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • To work with, and adhere to, Randox Health quality management at all times.
  • Familiarise and update all regulatory requirements, as required.
  • Adherence to company Positive Work Environment policies, Health & Safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Attendance at functions or events where applicable as a company representative.
  • Completion of timely financial reports; daily revenue; weekly KPIs; monthly reports.
  • Coordinate and distribute the workload evenly within your clinic.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to maintain a professional composure at all times.
  • Tenacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and manner.
  • Proficient level of IT literacy.
  • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business.
  • Professional insight.
  • Problem solving.
  • Clean, full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:
  • The ability to input and record data accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience in private / healthcare sector.
  • Experience in managing a team.
