The role:

• Support the HSE Manager. Assist with the design, implementation and continuous improvement of all health, safety and environmental activities and processes.
• Assist with preparation and execution of HSE certification audits.
• Provide HSE support to the business.
• Act as lead(s) in the risk assessment program.

Essential Criteria:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• >1 year previous experience as a HSE Officer.
• Confidentiality and discretion.
• IT literate, proficient in MS Office.
• Analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Planning, organising and time management abilities.
• Determined, results focused, with ability to work on own initiative.

Desirable Criteria:

• NEBOSH General Certificate, 3rd level safety qualification or working towards, e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or a degree.
• Recognised environmental qualification.
