Health & Safety Officer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support day-to-day safety operations within a veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a practical, site-based role focused on ensuring a safe working environment across production, laboratory, and warehouse areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out on-site risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits
• Monitor compliance with H&S regulations and GMP standards
• Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Deliver toolbox talks and staff safety training
• Work closely with production and lab teams to improve safety practices
• Maintain safety documentation and ensure audit readiness

Requirements:

• Proven H&S experience in pharma, manufacturing, or life sciences or other
• Strong working knowledge of workplace safety regulations
• Hands-on, visible approach to safety on the floor
• Good communication skills and ability to influence teams
• Strong IT Skills and Documentation skills
