Health & Social Care Assistants
ChildVision is seeking to recruit for a number of relief panel of Health Care Assistants.
The roles are based in Pathways Adult Day Services in the Drumcondra area. To provide person-centred care and support young adults with vision impairments to fulfil their daily schedules while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.
Hourly rate range of €16.01 to €20.46
Hours are between 8-4.30pm Monday – Friday only
As a Healthcare & Social Care Assistant, you will
Provide support for a range of tasks, including, social outings, recreational activities, independence building activities, cooking and shopping, one to one supports, self-care activities and personal care. Contribute to building a happy, safe, dignified and affirming environment within the service in line with the New Directions Framework. Maintaining all relevant documentation, including daily log books, hand-over sheets and, as appropriate, files.
Requirements
Hold or be working towards a QQI Level 5 in healthcare or equivalent.
OR Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare related Degree
Some experience of working in a disability setting would be desirable.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Full Irish Manual not automatic Driving License required.

Note
Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland.
Garda Clearance/ Police Clearance:
These will be required for all prospective employees who will undertake relevant work or activities relating to children or vulnerable persons. This will include any state outside of Ireland where the candidate has resided for a period of 6 months or more.
