Hospital Kitchen Porter

Broadline Group are looking for Hospital Kitchen Porters throughout Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Louth, Laois, Offaly, Kilkenny and Carlow locations.

Suitable Kitchen Porter must have one-year relevant work experience in a healthcare, contract catering or high-volume hospitality environment and be able to provide work references covering five years employment history. We have ongoing Kitchen Porter positions in HSE units including some of the largest Healthcare settings, Hospitals and Nursing Homes throughout Leinster.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum one year experience in hospital, nursing home, or high-volume catering environment within the last five years.
• Excellent English both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to healthcare catering environments.
• Minimum of three working references covering five years of employment history.
• Candidates must hold a valid work permit to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
• Candidates should have a positive and committed approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general kitchen cleaning duties, including wash-up, pot wash, crockery, and cutlery cleaning.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across food preparation areas and throughout the kitchen.
• Support chefs with daily kitchen tasks, goods in/goods out, stock control, and stock rotation.
• Complete deep cleaning procedures and follow HACCP, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Work effectively as part of the kitchen team and assist with food preparation.
