Full Time Host for our South Bank Bar

Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience?

Do you have experience as a Host, greeting, seating and managing bookings?

The Host is the first point of contact for guests in the hotel’s bar. This role is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations for F&B outlets, seating guests efficiently, and supporting the smooth operation of the front-of-house. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high volume 4* or 5* hotel or quality focused restaurant or bar, and will display the ability to manage table bookings to maximise numbers, with a strong commitment to quality, high standards, service and customer care.

Responsibilities will include:

• ·Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, attentive first impression.
• Manage the seating in order to optimize guest numbers and flow and turn over tables to minimize guest wait times.
• Maintain accurate waitlists and manage reservations using our booking system.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and menus.
• Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
• Support the team during peak hours by assisting with service or clearing tables if needed.
• Promote hotel events, special menus, or bar promotions when applicable.
• To Look after all of our guests to the highest standard and communicate Hotel services to them.
