Hotel Night Porter

Night Porter - 3* Marine Hotel, Sutton

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Night Porter. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Night Porter in a 3*, 4* or 5* Hotel property; possess excellent interpersonal and customer care skills and be able to work on their own initiative. Opera experience is essential for this role.

About the Marine Hotel, Sutton:

Established since 1897, the Marine Hotel is located at Sutton Cross, the gateway to Howth and Dublin City. The Marine is a Hotel of great warmth and character, with its lawn rolling down to the shore of Dublin Bay. The Schooner Bar,and Cucinos Restaurant are all popular local venues.

Responsibilities will include:

· Ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the Hotel during the night

· Setting up function and meeting rooms as per client requirements

· Cleaning duties around the Hotel

· Ensuring all guest queries are dealt with professionally and efficiently, including local information, luggage collection and storage

· Some late check-ins and early check-outs of hotel guests

· Some bar work may be involved.

Please note that the hours of work are 11:00pm to 7:15am on a rotational basis.
