Household Recycling Centre Senior Attendant

A number of permanent part time vacancies currently exist within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-

Household Recycling Centre Senior Attendant – Part Time
19.5 hours per week
Scale 4, SCP 9-13, £27,254 to £29,064 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Location: Redlands HRC, Larne

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of any Household Recycling Centre within the Borough, to include the supervision of a small team.
• Work using initiative and have the ability to communicate in a polite and effective manner to members of the public.
• Apply Health and Safety Legislation in line with the site working plan and safe operating procedures ensuring work activities at the site are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and site licensing conditions, completing electronic or manual records as required.
