Beechfield Care Group are currently looking to recruit a Housekeeper to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Mount Hybla Private Nursing Home, White’s Rd, Castleknock, Dublin D15 Y977.

About Mount Hybla

The original house and lands at Mount Hybla were a Glebe for the Church of Ireland Parish of Castleknock & Mulhuddart. The house, overlooking Farmleigh Estate in the Phoenix Park, was built around 1750 and is a protected architectural structure. With beautiful recreational grounds and activity spaces, Mount Hybla creates a warm atmosphere for all residents and their requirements. Our staff hold a genuine interest and passion in what they do, and this is essential in achieving and keeping the high standard that we set for ourselves.

About the Role

The Housekeeper/General Operative will be responsible for overseeing housekeeping and cleaning operations at our nursing home. The working hours will be varied according to the home’s needs and will require occasional weekend work.

Role Responsibilities

• This role requires the holder to work across the nursing home as a:

  • Housekeeping Assistant

  • Catering Assistant

  • Laundry Assistant

• Be continuously vigilant towards the dignity, comfort, and safety of residents in the nursing home.

• Continuously adhere to all hygiene, health and safety regulations.

Role Requirements

• Excellent people skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

• Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes

• Strong organisation and planning skills to ensure staffing is adequate across the home and supplies are kept in order and replaced on units as required

• Team player and able to work with management and staff

• Visible and credible leader who can lead by example
