Housekeeping/General operative

Beechfield Care Group are currently seeking to recruit a General Operative to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Carlow, R93 DD43.

Role Responsibilities

• Support laundry operations, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen, uniforms, and residents’ clothing while maintaining hygiene and infection control standards.
• Support kitchen operations, including assisting with the preparation and service of meals, beverages, and daily operational duties in accordance with company standards and hygiene requirements.
• Prepare and maintain work areas, dining areas, equipment, utensils, and supplies to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and availability.
• Carry out cleaning duties across operational areas, including kitchens, resident areas, communal spaces, equipment, and workstations, using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain continuous compliance with hygiene, infection prevention, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
