Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. That's why it's the largest team on each Village.

HOUSEKEEPING TRAINING COORDINATOR | €16.76 per hour

Reporting to the Accommodation Services Manager, we are looking for an experienced Training Coordinator to provide all training needs and support to the Housekeeping Managers and Housekeeping department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Training of staff in liaison with Housekeeping Managers
  • Carrying out departmental Induction Training
  • Organising and documenting legal training in line with company requirements
  • Carrying out corrective training as required
  • Ensuring that training records / logbooks are completed and kept up-to-date
  • Assisting with the recruitment process of housekeeping staff

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 120 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

Your working hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Sociably confident with excellent skills and the ability to support, develop and lead a team 
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft, Excel and Outlook 
  • Deliver on the job training and a good awareness of general workplace health and safety 
  • Good communication / organisational skills
  • Have a motivational approach towards colleagues and work 
  • Empathetic and supportive approach 

Desirable requirements:

  • Managerial / supervisory experience 
  • Supervisory / training experience within the cleaning or hospitality industry
