Reporting to: Member Relations Manager

Location: AT Network Office, Dublin 17

Contract: 1 year Fixed-Term Contract – Full Time (renewable)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Starting salary: From €33,700 per annum, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Áiseanna Tacaíochta (AT Network) is a national organisation that supports adults with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and communities through the Direct Payment Model. We work closely with Leaders (person with a disability),

Personal Assistants, families, the HSE and other stakeholders to provide information, guidance, and practical support to manage the service.

The Role

The HR & Administration Officer (HRAO) plays an important role in supporting Leaders and Personal Assistants by providing high-quality administrative and HR support. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, Garda Vetting, onboarding, employee relations matters, and general member support, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Member Relations Team.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities and support Leaders with recruitment, employment and employee relations matters, including preparing and placing job advertisements, arranging interviews, maintaining recruitment records, and responding to HR-related queries in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Manage and process Garda Vetting applications and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare employment documentation, including contracts and letters, and coordinate employee onboarding and induction processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee and Member records in compliance with GDPR requirements and coordinate mandatory training requirements and related records.
  • Liaise with Leaders, Personal Assistants and external agencies as required.
  • Prepare reports and maintain statistics relating to recruitment, Garda Vetting, training and other Member Relations activities.
  • Support the development and review of policies, procedures, forms and guidance documents as required.
  • Participate in meetings and undertake other duties appropriate to the role as reasonably assigned.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in an office administration, HR administration, recruitment, or similar support role.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks and work on own initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience in maintaining confidential records and working in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working in the disability, healthcare, community, or not-for-profit sector.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Care or a related discipline.

Eligible Candidates must be:

(a) A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of the member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway; or

(b) A citizen of the United Kingdom (UK); or

(c) A citizen of Switzerland pursuant to the agreement between the EU and Switzerland on the free movement of persons; or

(d) A non-EEA citizen who has an up-to-date Stamp 4 or a Stamp 5 Irish Residence Permission.
