Job Title: Part-Time HR Assistant
Reporting To: HR Officer
Location: On-site at iM3 Dental, Unit 29 Duleek Business Park, Duleek. Co Meath. A92N72W
Hours: Part-time, 4–5 half days per week (9:00am–1:00pm or similar)
Role Overview
The Part-Time HR Assistant will support the HR Officer and the day-to-day operations of the HR function, ensuring efficient administration and a positive employee experience. The role also provides administrative support in maintaining Health & Safety (H&S) standards across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (digital and physical files)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist in the preparation of employment contracts, letters, and HR documentation.
- Manage own HR inbox and respond to routine queries.
- Provide general HR administrative support to Management including ad hoc tasks as required.
Recruitment Support
- Post job ads and coordinate applications
- Schedule interviews and liaise with candidates
- Assist with interview preparation and feedback tracking
Employee Support
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries
- Support employee engagement initiatives and activities
- Assist with absence tracking and leave records
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR records comply with data protection and employment legislation
- Support audits and reporting (e.g. headcount, turnover, absence)
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
General HR Support
- Assist with training coordination and record-keeping
- Support HR projects and process improvements as required
Key Requirements
Essential
- Previous administrative experience (HR experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable
- Interest in Human Resources or related field
- Experience with HR systems or databases
