Purpose of the Role

Support the HR team in delivering effective HR services and gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities within a manufacturing/pharmaceutical environment. As a member of our Cork Site, which is experiencing significant growth and expansion, you will be part of a dynamic team that actively supports and enables this growth. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of our people and processes as we elevate our capabilities and shape the future of healthcare manufacturing together.

This is part of a 2-year development program and may particularly suit a graduate, someone who is early in their HR career or currently studying HR, offering valuable hands-on experience and professional development in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment. While the initial appointment is for two years, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist HR team members with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
  • Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates.
  • Help maintain HR systems (e.g., CoreHR, Workday) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support Payroll reporting.
  • Participate in culture and belonging initiatives as a team member.
  • Prepare basic HR reports and assist with HR analytics under supervision.
  • Provide support in employee relations processes (e.g., note-taking, document preparation).
  • Collaborate with COEs and other HR functions as directed.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local employment legislation.
  • Respond to general HR queries from employees and escalate as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Interest in pursuing CIPD qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Experience

  • Any internship or placement experience in HR or a related field is desirable but not essential.
