The Corlann West Region employs over 1,900 staff, providing services to more than 2,000 adults and children with an intellectual disability across counties Galway and Roscommon.
Location and Role:
The post is based 5 days per week in our office in Clarinbridge, Co Galway
The HR Data Administrator is a key member of the HR Team, providing high level administrative, operational and analytical support across the full spectrum of HR activities. The post holder will play a central role in HR data analytics and administration of some core HR functions. This role requires a professional with strong analytical co-ordination, strong HR administration skills, advanced data reporting skills and the ability to work with accuracy and discretion in a fast paced, regulated environment. The HR Administrator is expected to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement in HR service delivery.

Head of HR West Region, this maybe subject to change.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
• A degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record in an HR administrative, HR operations, or HR analytics role.
• Strong analytical, Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to interpret trends and present findings clearly is a clear requirement for the role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong written English.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence & access to car to travel to work meetings throughout the West Region (County Roscommon and County Galway).
Desirable
• CIPD qualification or working towards same.
• Experience in healthcare, disability, or Section 38 environments.
• Proven experience producing HR metrics, dashboards and data insights.
• Advanced Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling and dashboard development is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
70 hours per fortnight rostered on a 5-day Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility in relation to your hours of work will be required in order to meet service needs. Contracted hours of work may change between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. over 7 days as future service needs require. Flexibility may be required in order to meet Service demands.
Annual Leave:
26 days per annum.
Remuneration:
Department of Health Grade IV (Clerical) salary scale (01/02/2026) - €36,109 x 9 increments - €52,235 (Max) per annum.
LSI 1 €53,829 per annum is payable after 3 years on the maximum of the scale. LSI 2 €55,463 per annum is payable after a further 3 years.
Pension Scheme:
The Corlann Contributory Superannuation Scheme which is linked with the Nominated Health Agencies Superannuation Scheme or Single Public Service Pension Scheme (whichever is applicable) will apply to this appointment and the person appointed will enter the said Scheme as and from the date of taking up employment.
Tenure:
This post is permanent, full-time and pensionable.
Probation:
A probationary period of nine months from the date of appointment applies to the post. The employment may be terminated at any time during the probationary period should the employer find that the appointee is unsuitable to continue employment. The probation period may be extended at the Employer’s discretion.
Travel:
The person appointed must provide his/her own car and must furnish an indemnity from Insurers in favour of the employer. Travelling expenses at
the appropriate rate will be paid in respect of travel necessarily performed in the discharge of duty.
