HR Team is now seeking to recruit a HR Generalist in order to provide support with their growing client base.
HR Generalist
As a HR Generalist, you will be required to provide a high quality of service to HR Team clients ensuring that their organisations are protected. You will be expected to:
- Provide advice to clients on HR and employment law queries.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practice.
- Provide support with employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings, absence management, recruitment and selection, redundancy and TUPE.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Prepare contracts of employment and employee handbooks.
- Always represent HR Team in the most professional and positive way at all times.
- Maintain a good rapport with all HR Team clients.
- Ensure that a strong commercial understanding is always demonstrated to our clients.
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: Negotiable and depending on experience
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a HR generalist or similar role
- Experience in the various employee relations procedures such as grievance, disciplinary, dignity at work, absence and redundancy.
- Excellent written communication skills with a high attention to grammar, spelling and presentation.
- Excellent communication and client satisfaction skills with experience of dealing with clients both over the telephone and on a face-to-face basis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong organisational and team working skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to pay attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
- A qualification in HR or employment law
- Knowledge of employment law in Republic of Ireland and Great Britain
- The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with all parts of HR / Employee life cycle.
- They will be able to communicate with consultants and HR Team Directors on a regular basis.
