Programme Overview

Our two-year rotational programme is designed to provide recent graduates with broad exposure across the People & Capability Office. During the programme, you will rotate through key areas of HR including Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Learning & Development and Internal Engagements/Organisational Development, gaining valuable experience, mentorship, and insight into how HR enables our business to succeed.

What You’ll Do

Across your three rotations, you will:

Talent Acquisition

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including coordination of interviews, psychometric assessments, and university outreach.
  • Assist with screening applications for graduate, intern, and early talent programmes.
  • Help manage our candidate engagement, ensuring a positive experience throughout the hiring journey.

People Operations

  • Support HR systems and processes including onboarding, data management, and employee lifecycle administration (starters, movers, leavers).
  • Contribute to process improvements and data accuracy across all HR touchpoints.
  • Assist in maintaining and auditing personnel records and documentation.

Internal Engagement / Organisational Development

  • Support the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Assist with diversity, equity, and inclusion programmes, including data reporting and internal communications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal communications channels and engagement strategy.

Learning & Development

  • Respond to employee queries in the learning mailbox
  • Manage users on the EirGrid learning portal
  • Create events on the EirGrid learning portal
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers relating to education support applications
  • Support coordination of learning events
  • Support the learning team in delivering new learning initiatives and programmes

What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 8 degree or higher (2:1 minimum, expected or attained) in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in HR and the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A team player with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
  • Available to start in 2025
