HR Manager

MBCC Foods is delighted to announce that we are recruiting for a HR Manager to join our team in Little Island, Cork. The HR Manager will report to the Operations Director and over see the HR function across the business. This role will involve travel throughout our stores across Ireland.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Job Description

• Main point of contact for HR support & advice across the business

• Responsible for overseeing the HR department and HR team, ensuring correct processes & legislation is being followed throughout the business at all times

• Responsible for all aspects of employee relations ensuring internal procedures are followed and complied with as per legislation

• Responsible for managing all statutory protective leave requests.

• Responsible for long term absence

• Responsible for the creation of HR documentation and ensuring documentation is kept up to date with current Irish legislation.

• Responsible for creating and delivering training for area and store managers primarily focused on HR related topics.

• Assisting board of directors with any ad hoc queries or requests.

· Championing health, wellbeing and engagement and assisting in the roll out of new initiatives

Job Specifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management

· Solid previous HR experience

· Can do attitude and natural self-starter

· Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems

· Confident and organized, with an ability to hold difficult conversations, and to make decisions quickly.
