Human Resource Manager | Grand Hotel, Malahide & Marine Hotel, Sutton

We now have an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to join our team as HR Manager.

Objective of role:

The successful candidate will provide ongoing support and guidance to the Management team across all spectrum's of the HR function while effectively managing and developing our people and play a pivotal role in delivering the strategic People Plan.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Embed and foster a postive culture within both hotels, ensuring alignment to our core values as a team.
  • Drive the wellness initiative programme throughout in conjunction with the management team.
  • Take ownership of the Recruitment, Selection & Onboarding process.
  • Take ownership of the Performance Management System, Applicant tracking system & HRIS system.
  • Support colleagues with general employment queries and employee relation matters in a professional and timely manner and in line with best practice.
  • Provide comprehensive HR guidance and support to key stakeholders across the business on issues such as employee relations, performance management, talent management, health and safety.
  • To assist in co-ordinating all training and development needs for both hotels.
  • Assist in conducting investigation, disciplinary and grievance hearings as required and in line with best practice.
  • Collate weekly & montly HR metrics & reports for key stakeholders
  • Any other duties that may be required to support the management team to deliver HR best practice.

The Candidate:

  • A relevant HR qualification with 2-3 years HR experience is required.
  • Previous experience within the hospitality or retail sector would be advantageous.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft office and various software systems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team and work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
