Key Deliverables:
- Work closely with HR colleagues and business managers to develop and execute HR strategies to enhance people management practices in line with overall business strategy.
- Lead in various HR initiatives and projects including recruitment, talent management, training, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation and benefits, communications, and process improvement.
- Support in all business change initiatives
- Manage on boarding and integration of new team members in conjunction with relevant managers across the business.
- Manage talent management process including annual review, performance management, succession planning, employee development plans, promotions, internal mobility.
- Provide support, leadership and advice to Managers in relation to employment law issues and employee relations issues including resolving disputes
- Coach and support line managers on HR tools and processes, providing advice and information to empower and develop them in effectively managing their team.
- Deliver training where required
- Contribute and manage regional employee engagement projects including action planning and follow up workshops post internal employee engagement survey, Health and Well Being, Employee Appreciation Week, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives and various other adhoc initiatives.
- Supports DHL’s global data protection standards by ensuring employee data is processed in line with legislative and DHL Group policies, maintaining secure HR systems, monitoring access rights, completing Data Protection Records, and Privacy Impact Assessments, and coordinating with the Data Protection Officer to uphold compliance across all HR activities
- Update human resource policies and procedures as required and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Maintain human resource documents including training documents, role profiles etc in line with quality systems requirements.
- Responsible for all HR systems support to business managers and team members (absence management system, employee management system, global online training application and global recruitment application)
- Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, and all requirements under Data Protection Legislation in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme
Key Skills/Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years general Human Resource experience in multinational company with general knowledge of all facets of the HR function
- Excellent organizational skills, an ability to work under strict time constraints with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of latest HR Policies and best practices and applicable legislation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to facilitate communication between employees and management
- Demonstrated computer skills and MS Office skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs and applications.
- Supportive personality and helps other HR team members
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, or relevant
- CIPD accredited membership desirable
- Strong knowledge of HR database management
