HR Operations Manager
The Role:
BnM is currently looking for a motivated and experienced HR Operations Manager to join our Enabling Services team in Newbridge. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of efficient, consistent, compliant, and best-in-class HR operational services across BnM, supporting the organisation's continued growth as a leading renewable energy company. The role is responsible for driving service excellence through the continuous enhancement of HR processes, policies,employee lifecycle administration, HR systems, data integrity, and service standards. It ensures that managers and employees receive a professional, responsive, customer-focused, and highquality HR service, while championing continuous improvement and operational effectiveness across the HR function.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of HR operational services, ensuring efficient administration across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, contractual changes, probation, absence, leave, employee records, offboarding and related HR processes. Partner with colleagues on payroll, pensions, compensation and benefits to ensure seamless employee lifecycle administration and a consistent employee experience.
- Develop, document, standardise and continuously improve HR processes, workflows and service standards, ensuring clear ownership, effective controls, appropriate approvals and a consistent employee and manager experience. HR lead for the Joiner, Mover, Leaver process, employee onboarding and induction processes working closely with the wider HR team. Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve HR operations, reducing manual effort and enabling the HR team to focus on higher-value advisory, strategic and people-focused activity.
- Manage the end to end talent acquisition process. Continuously review and improve the talent acquisition process to ensure the efficient attraction of talent and capabilities to the business.
- Design and implement best in class people policies, practices and procedures ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Lead the BI Reporting for HR providing a suite of KPIs and people metrics to monitor business performance including but not limited to data quality, process cycle times, absence, headcount changes, recruitment approvals, employee lifecycle activity and policy compliance trends.
- Act as the HR lead for operational use of HR systems, ensuring employee data is accurate, secure and maintained in line with data protection requirements. Support system improvements, automation, self-service, reporting and adoption of digital HR ways of working.Lead the implementation of a new HRIS.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of strategic people initiatives, projects, events, communications, and change programmes. Lead or contribute to HR and cross-functional projects, continuous improvement initiatives, employee engagement activities, and ad hoc business priorities as required, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with organisational and people strategy objectives.
- All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.
- Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives.
What we're looking for:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes:
- Hons Degree in a Business or HR related discipline is essential. 5 years + experience of working in a human centric strategic HR team leading the HR Operations function.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity to implement and operationalise people systems and processes. Advanced communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence, partner and challenge individuals at all levels of the business. Ability to multi-task, displaying skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads to meet challenging deadlines. Resilient and capable of dealing with pressurised situations and deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong people leadership capabilities being able to build and develop a high performing team and manage success through others. Excellent report writing and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of implementing and operationalising HR & Payroll systems in preferable. CIPD accreditation desirable
