Job Description & Summary

A career in Human Resources, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to make a difference at PwC by helping to fully leverage the skills and talents of all our people.

It takes talented people to support the largest professional services organisation in the world. Our Recruiting team works to identify and attract talent for PwC. You’ll focus on engaging the most qualified experienced candidates by building relationships with job seekers and candidates, while understanding the dynamic hiring needs of our Internal Firm Services business. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract.

You’ll be working in the HR department as part of the experienced hire recruitment team. We expect to hire 300 people this year, hence why we’re looking for you to join the team. Our firm is growing and we want you to focus on helping them find the best talent in the market. You will be recruiting for our Internal Firm Services department which is the support functions for our firm compromising of areas such as HR, IT, Marketing, Finance etc.

About the Ideal Candidate

We want you to be able to build really strong relationships with Hiring Managers and the HR Business Partners so you can proactively build a strong pipeline of suitable people across all levels, both in the Irish market and internationally. As a result, you’ll be good at finding people through various direct sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Boolean and social media. You’ll also be screening applicants, getting involved in the interviews, the offer process, preparing reports on the recruitment statistics for management as well as leading ad-hoc recruitment and HR projects to drive continuous improvement of the recruitment function so you’ll need to be organised and good at managing your time.

Education | Professional Qualifications:

  • Ideally you’ll have a Degree in Business, Marketing or HR

  • Knowledge of employment law legislation, particularly visas and immigration law would also be useful to have

Skills:

  • At least 2 years proven experience in a busy in-house role with proven experience of managing a large number of roles at all levels, particularly managerial level

  • Previous experience working closely with Senior Level Stakeholders is essential

  • Experience of using online search tools such as LinkedIn recruiter seat and other Boolean search techniques

  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems

  • Experience managing complex recruitment campaigns
