The HR Reward Specialist role involves supporting the Bank's Reward Strategy Agenda by advising on all aspects of reward and delivering a Total Reward Framework. This includes managing primary, performance-based, and career-focused reward and recognition elements. The role requires processing reward offerings in a regulated environment, analysing data to support decision-making, and supporting the full range of reward activities such as the annual pay cycle, variable pay, salary benchmarking, pay modeling, and analysing remuneration data for regulatory disclosure.

To be a trusted advisor and Reward Subject Matter Expert, creating superior experiences consistently and earning trust by making a difference in the lives of our customers, colleagues, and communities every day.
Supporting delivery of EU pay transparency directive requirements, ultimately contributing to:
A Total Reward Framework for the Bank’s offering to staff encompassing primary, performance based and career focused aspects of Reward, ensuring equity, fairness, and transparency in how the Bank rewards colleagues.
Assist with the design of a Pay Framework that supports the annual PRP (Performance Related Pay) review process and annual Branch Based Commission Scheme (variable pay scheme)
Manage the compensation survey submission process, obtain insights, and monitor market trends to deliver data driven insights and recommendations to ensure the Bank’s reward strategy is cost effective, internally equitable and externally competitive.
Perform the Job Evaluation process, sizing individual roles.
Keep up to date with all relevant HR legislation and regulation with particular focus on the EU pay transparency directive requirements and PTSB Regulatory Reward framework, helping to ensure that our Reward policies and procedures always remain compliant.
Review Remuneration procedures and guidance documents on an annual basis and work with the business and broader HR team to develop a better understanding of reward and governance processes and methodologies with an emphasis on risk standards and controls.
Support the Remuneration Committee (RemCo) as required, providing insights in support of data driven business decisions.
Partner with other HR Centres of Excellence (COE) to support the delivery of EU pay transparency directive for PTSB.
Manage the Reward Query Log and Reward mailbox, ensuring queries from colleagues and management are resolved satisfactorily in the agreed SLA timeframe.
Implement effective governance of 3rd party supplier contracts and Reward processes to ensure adherence with the Bank’s audit, regulatory, compliance and ICF standards.
Be an agent for change and identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance operating processes and simplify procedures within Reward and other HR COE.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience of Reward or related field, preferably in regulated financial services
- Ability to deliver on time, and to tight timeframes while handling conflicting priorities.
- Highly numerical and meticulous in detail with a clear focus on quality with ability to spot anomalies and investigate them.
- Ability to work on own initiative with high standards and a continuous improvement attitude.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience of researching and analysing data.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and proficient in PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Outlook)
This is a permanent role based in the PTSBSt Stephens Green Dublin(Hybrid Options available within Republic of Ireland only)
